Sacha Lord is Night Time Economy Adviser for Greater
Manchester, Chair of the Night Time Industries
Association and Chair of Wythenshawe F.C, Co-Founder
of The Warehouse Project and Co-Founder of Parklife -
the UK’s largest metropolitan festival.
His events have hosted some of the biggest names in
music, including Snoop Doff, Liam Gallagher and
Skepta.
In his role as Greater Manchester’s first-ever Night
Time Economy Adviser, Sacha works with Mayor Andy
Burnham and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority,
consulting on all issues relating to the Night Time
Economy and providing a voice for workers, operators
and the industry at large.
Sacha Lord appointed JMW Solicitors in January of 2023
to start the process of forming The Sacha Lord
Foundation.
Headed up by his wife, Demi, the Foundation will support
young people from Greater Manchester, who like Sacha,
did not or could not go down the conventional education
route.
The Foundation will be focused on supporting and carving out careers in the Events or Hospitality sector. Charity Number: 1204808. It launches Spring 2024. More information coming soon…
The Parklife Community Fund is run in collaboration with
Manchester, Bury and Rochdale councils.
In 5 years, it has raised just under £300k for local
community groups and priority is given to groups and
projects that utilise parks and open spaces and/or work
with young people.
This is something that Sacha feels particularly proud of.
